Delete my data
Last updated: 28 July 2026
The simplest way: from the app
Open Football Quiz, then My account → Privacy → Erase my leaderboard data. Deletion is immediate and permanent, with no need to go through us.
What gets deleted
- your public card: nickname, badge colour, account level, cleared levels, success rate;
- the random identifier that linked your runs together;
- the link between you and your runs: the runs stay on the leaderboard but detached from any identity — no nickname, no identifier, no IP hash. They expire on their own after one hundred days. Deleting them outright would move every player ranked below you up a place, which would mean rewriting other people's standings;
- any reports you filed.
Server technical logs, which only contain a non-reversible hash of the IP address, are purged automatically after thirty days.
What is not deleted
Your in-game progress — levels, stars, coins, boosters, profile photo — is not affected: it never left your phone. To erase it, use My account → Start over, or simply uninstall the app.
If you no longer have the app
Write to maemartinscharavel@gmail.com with your nickname as it appears on the leaderboard and, if you wrote it down, the identifier shown at the bottom of the Privacy screen.
Without an identifier we delete the card matching the nickname you give. If several players share that nickname, we will ask for one detail (the date and score of one of your runs, for instance) before erasing anything.
We answer within thirty days at most, and usually much sooner. We will never ask for more information than is strictly needed to find your card.
After deletion
If you keep playing with sharing enabled, a new card is created on your next Challenge run, with a new identifier. To avoid that, turn off Send my games on the Privacy screen — which is exactly what the in-app erase button does for you.
